Students are currently working on an in class project where they were assigned an explorer to research. Students would be able to describe the reasons for and any obstacles to the exploration of North America from their explorer’s experience. They then are writing scripts and will video an “interview” with their explorer.

Over the next couple of months, our class will be participating in a Pigskin Geography activity. We will be covering all of our map standards for 4th grade in a fun way! Today, each student will draw the name of a NFL team to follow throughout the football season. Students will track their team as they travel and play different teams throughout the United States. They will learn about each state / geography at the same time.
